Poc net i límpid.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;strong&gt;Aroma&lt;/strong&gt;: Intensitat aromàtica mitja-baixa, constant, això sí, on destaquen notes evolucionades i un defecte important a aroma de suro.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;strong&gt;Gust&lt;/strong&gt;: Entrada molt lleugera, vi gens arrodonit, absència tànica total, verdor, acidesa marcada, gens persistent. Altra vegada sobresurt el suro.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;strong&gt;Comentari&lt;/strong&gt;:&lt;br /&gt;Es tracta d'una curiositat que volíem fos present al bloc. Encara que al moment d'obrir l'ampolla el color, que esperàvem més evolucionat per ser del 1996, ens ha fet mantenir alguna esperança, per olfacte i gust aquestes han desaparegut totalment. Aquesta vitis vinifera permet l'obtenció de vins molt corpulents i amb una elevada intensitat colorant (es parla dels monstres francesos del vi); vins que són facilment susceptibles de sobresortir dins el panorama vinícola francès. Ben equilibrat.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="FONT-WEIGHT: bold"&gt;Final:&lt;/span&gt; Melós i amb un toc salat. Potser excessivament lleuger.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="FONT-WEIGHT: bold"&gt;Comentari:&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/span&gt;El color d'aquest malta és enganyós, es tracta d'un whisky més complexe del que sembla a primera vista.&lt;br /&gt;Springbank es considera una de les millors destil·leries d'Escòcia, famosa pel respecte als mètodes tradicionals. És una de les poques que practica la triple destil·lació, mètode que aporta una característica lleugeresa als seus maltes.&lt;br /&gt;Produeix destil·lats interessants, tot i que en general força cars. Molt llarg i amb una agradable dolçor final.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;strong&gt;Comentari&lt;/strong&gt;: Es tracta de l'únic whisky de malta elaborat a la illa de Skye. La destil·leria es troba a la costa oest, prop de les famoses Black Cuillin. D'un lloc tant extraordinari només podia sortir-ne un whisky genial.
